Chimie organométallique

La chimie organométallique étudie la chimie des molécules qui résulte de la complexation d'un ion métallique avec une molécule ou un édifice organique.

On distingue généralement deux approches de la chimie organométallique :

• celle à caractère inorganique étudiant essentiellement les catalyseurs organométaliques,
• celle à caractère organique étudiant les réactifs de la synthèse organique utilisés comme source de carbanions (organomagnésiens, organolithiens, zinciques, cuivreux...).
